Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (Research)

This program is designed for students with a bachelor's degree who want to expand and deepen their knowledge in one or more areas through undertaking coursework and a small research project. It qualifies students to apply for entry into graduate study if grades of H2A or above are achieved. Those with H1 grades will be eligible to apply for a scholarship so continue their studies.

Entry Requirements and Length of Candidature

Applicants should have a pass degree at credit level or above in the relevant discipline. The Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (Research) is to be completed within one year on a full-time basis, or two years part-time. Candidates undertake three twelve point, one semester units (36 points) and a research project (12 points) of 9,000 words. The research component amounts to 25% of the course.
