IT Resources Available

The ArtsIT Resource Centre in room s410 in the Menzies building, Clayton, has the following facilities and equipment available for staff use.

2 Scanners: 2400 DPI for images & text.
HP with paper feed for OCR (Converting text to digital)
2 HP d530 PC's: With CD and DVD burning capabilities. The PC 's have the following software: Adobe Creative Suite, Office XP (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Front Page, Outlook), Mozilla and Internet Explorer.
1 Macintoch OS X, 10.3, G5: With CD and DVD burning capabilities. It has the following software: Macromedia Suite, Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Front Page, Entourage), Safari, Mozilla and Internet Explorer.
1 HP LaserJet 4050N Printer: Black & White printer, prints A4 paper.
1 HP Color LaserJet 4650DN: Color printer, prints A4 paper. Colour printing is charged at 20c per page, payable in cash. Alternatively, for large volumes of printing, cost can be charged back to schools if the appropriate cost code is provided.
