A vast archive of photographs taken at a long-forgotten Aboriginal station near Healesville has provided a remarkable insight into Aboriginal community life during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The 2005 recipients of the Faculty of Arts Award for Excellence in Higher Degree by Research Supervision were Dr Heather Bowe from the Linguistics section of the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics and Professor Graham Oppy from the Philosophy section of the School of Philosophy and Bioethics. Both Dr Bowe’s and Professor Oppy’s nominations came with glowing reports from their students, past and present.
