The Rare Book Summer School
The Second Australian and New Zealand Rare Book School will be held in Melbourne from 13 to17 February 2006. Jointly sponsored by the Centre for the Book, Monash University and the State Library of Victoria, the School will be held essentially in rooms and with materials made available by the State Library. One or more sessions of the European Book course may involve using the Ancora Press at Monash University. The fee for an intensive five-day course is Aust $700 (inclusive of GST). Applications close on Friday 25 November.

- Medieval and Renaissance Illuminated Manuscripts (Margaret Manion & Bernard Muir)
- The European Book in the Hand-Press Period, 1450-1830 (Brian McMullin & Pamela Pryde)
- The Book Trade in Nineteenth-Century Australia (Wallace Kirsop & Ian Morrison).
