Discontinue your Arts course
To withdraw from your Arts course entirely you must apply for course discontinuation.
Pay careful attention to discontinuation dates to avoid fees or having a fail recorded on your academic transcript.
International students on a student visa must submit a course discontinuation application to the faculty in person.
If you are thinking of transferring to another university or tertiary provider:
- View the 'Guide to student transfer to another registered provider'.
- Download a 'Release letter application for international students' .
Honours students should apply using the Honours change of enrolment form (pdf 33kb).
If you previously discontinued your course and wish to resume your studies, see Returning to study after course discontinuation.
Who can you talk to about discontinuing your course?
If you are not sure you should discontinue your course, we recommend you talk to someone to discuss your options before you submit your application.

Monash provides a number of support services to students, have a look to see if any of them can help.
