Variation to Postgraduate Arts Study Requirements
The requirements for courses are listed in the University Handbook entry for the course in the year you started.
Sometimes due to your study interests, or the availability of units in a particular year, you may need to request that a core unit, or an additional elective unit, be approved for inclusion in your studies. This is called a variation to a course requirement.
If you need to take a unit not approved in the University Handbook you must:
- Download and complete Variation to Study Requirements [RTF file].
- Have the form signed by the course coordinator (or approved delegate). Course coordinators are listed in the course handbook entry. If there is no coordinator listed in the handbook contact the Arts Faculty Office on your home campus.
- Hand the form in at the Arts Faculty Office on your home campus, see Contact Arts Student Services.
