Help to re-enrol in your Arts course

Check your course structure

You must refer to the course description in the University Handbook for the year you started your course. This lists the requirements for the successful completion of your course and it includes details of major, minor or sequence requirements and any core units or areas of study.

Undergraduates - use the undergraduate course maps to plot your progress so far and find the types of subjects you need to study next.

If your course has compulsory units that you must complete, use our unit code conversion tool to find the new ATS unit codes.

Postgraduates – use the course outline in the Postgraduate Handbook to see which units you can take.

Select units for next year

Next you need to select your units for next year. You must select and enrol in units for both semesters if you intend to study in semester one and two.

You must check the areas of study information to ensure you are selecting the right units for the areas you want to specialise in. Some areas of study have compulsory units you need to complete to meet major and minor requirements.

You must ensure all enrolled units will count towards the requirements of your course and the areas of study you want to specialise in.

Enrol in units

Enrol online

Most students can re-enrol using the Web Enrolment System (WES). Remember, every time you successfully add or discontinue units via WES, you will receive a transaction number. You should retain these transaction numbers as evidence of your unit alterations. For help, see the WES enrolment guide.

Enrol in person

If you are unable to enrol in WES, you can submit an enrolment form on your home campus. Enrolment forms are available from the undergraduate faculty offices or postgraduate faculty offices.

Change your re-enrolment

You can change your enrolment after you have re-enrolled and make variations to your study requirements.

Failure to re-enrol and re-instatement

If you fail to re-enrol during the timely and late re-enrolment periods must apply to the Faculty of Arts for re-instatement. We will determine if there are any places available. If the Faculty does not have any places available you may be forced to take intermission from your course.

Submit your Re-instatement request (rtf 122kb) to the undergraduate faculty office or postgraduate faculty office, on your home campus.
