Description
Students are required to complete 48 points of study comprising of a thesis and two coursework units. The coursework units and the thesis topic are chosen in consultation with the French studies honours coordinator.
Units
Thesis
Students complete one of the following options:
- FRN4902 Honours dissertation OR
- FRN4902(A) Honours dissertation Part 1 AND
- FRN4902(B) Honours dissertation Part 2
Coursework Units
Students complete two of the following units:
- FRN4090 French studies 9
- FRN4100 French studies 10
- FRN4600 Academic discourse in French
- FRN4720 Cultural and literary translation in French studies
- FRN4805 Translation: Theory and practice
- FRN4912 Special reading course
- FRN4913 French studies abroad 4/1
- FRN4914 French studies abroad 4/2
- LLC4100 Honours workshop: Theory and method in the Humanities
