Description
Students are required to complete 48 points of study comprising of a thesis and two coursework units.
The coursework units and the thesis topic are chosen in consultation with the Japanese honours coordinator.
Units
Thesis
Students complete one of the following options:
- JPL4481(A) Honours thesis in Japanese Part 1 AND
- JPL4481(B) Honours thesis in Japanese Part 2
- JPL4482(A) Honours thesis in Japanese - Part A - Part 1 AND
- JPL4482(B) Honours thesis in Japanese - Part A - Part 2
- JPL4483(A) Honours thesis in Japanese - Part B - Part 1 AND
- JPL4483(B) Honours thesis in Japanese - Part B - Part 2
Coursework Units
Students complete two of the following units:
- ASN4000 Special reading course
- LLC4100 Honours workshop: Theory and method in the humanities
- 12 points of language study at the appropriate level
Note: If on exchange, students will complete the equivalent of 24 points coursework at a university in Japan
