Unit Pre-requisites
You must meet any pre-requisite units to be eligible to enrol. Pre-requisite information is included in the unit entry in the University Handbook each year.
Please note information for 2012 summer B units is available from the 1 October. All summer B will undergo a prefix code change in 2012. All subjects will have either an ATS (undergraduate) or APG (postgraduate) unit prefix, see prefix change.

Unit Cancellations
Every effort will be made to ensure that the units on offer will run. However, units may be cancelled up to one week prior to the commencement date if there are an insufficient number of students enrolled in the unit. See policy on cancellation of units

Timetable and attendance requirements
Attendance requirements vary for each unit. Most units are not listed in the Monash University Timetable System (MUTTS) or in Allocate+.

Results
Summer semester results are published in early March and winter semester results are published in early September.

Course transfer applicants
Many faculties will not accept course transfer applications from summer semester students. This is because you cannot transfer courses while a mark is outstanding for a unit and results for summer are released in early march. This is typically after the start of semester one. Your results cannot be released prior to the official publication of results.
Monash Arts will not assess course transfer applications from summer semester students until summer results are returned.
Check with the faculty that manages your chosen transfer course if they accept transfer applications from summer students.

Re-enrolment
Sadly, enrolling in a summer semester unit does not count as re-enrolling for next year. If you fail to re-enrol for next year by the deadline the late re-enrolment fee will apply. For re-enrolment information:
