Literary Studies in the 21st Century
This symposium explored new directions in literary studies in such key areas as: contemporary authorship, digital publishing, literacy and orality, transnational literatures, and literature and new transdisciplinary research agendas (such as globalisation, sustainability and social inclusion). Bringing together scholars from a variety of disciplines and from different universities, the symposium presented an opportunity for participants to discuss the future of literary studies as well as explore and share ideas about the nexus between research and curriculum development..
