Postgraduate coursework class times

The number and type of classes you must attend can vary between subjects.
Most postgraduate on campus subjects have a weekly seminar, normally two to three hours in length.
There are also subjects that require students to attend a combination of classes. For example, language subjects may require you to attend a lecture, a tutorial and a culture class.
The handbook entry for the subject includes details of the number and type of classes you must attend.
Class Times
Typically, Arts postgraduate classes are scheduled weekday afternoons.A smaller number of programs offer units in the evening.
If you have the unit code for a subject, such as APG4274, you can check the scheduled class times in the timetable system. There is a login for guests. For help, see how to check class times.
Understand Arts subject codes
Each subject has a unique code. Every postgraduate unit code is made up of three letters (APG) and four digits: the first digit indicates the year level a unit is offered in and remaining digits represent the subject code. Postgraduate units are offered at level four and five.
Unit codes are available with our unit information in the University Handbook.
