| Home - Undergraduate units - Postgraduate studies - Research - People - Publications |
The Program consists of units on the Archaeology of Indigenous Australia, and Archaeological Field and Lab Methods.
Students are also encouraged to enrol in other relevant units in Quaternary Studies, Indigenous Studies and Social Theory, and Geographical Information Systems run by GES and other departments at the Monash University Clayton Campus. In particular, the Program has strong links with the Monash Indigenous Centre (MIC) and with the program for Mediterranean archaeology at the Centre for Archaeology and Ancient History. Our aim is to offer students a broad background in Australian indigenous archaeology at an undergraduate level. Advanced studies can be pursued at 4th year Honours level, and at postgraduate levels through a Masters and a PhD (both by Research).
