Monash Abroad Program Student Exchanges

Monash University has exchange partnerships with more than 80 universities in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America. Exchanges enable second and third year students to study abroad at these universities for one semester or a full year without paying international student fees. Subjects studied are normally credited towards their Monash degree.

Information and application forms are available at the Monash Abroad Office. Forms are due at the end of July for the first semester intake and mid-December for the second semester intake. Financial assistance may be available as travel grants or supplementary support.

Youth Ambassadors Scheme

Monash University is a partner organisation in the Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development Scheme (AYAD). AYAD is a Commonwealth Government initiative, funded through AusAID. The Program identifies and places skilled young Australians, aged 18-30, on development assignments throughout the Asia Pacific region. Assignments may be with government, local business, community service, education, health, environmental or agricultural organisations.

The scheme is serviced at the university by the Monash Abroad Office.
