Monash Arts scholars have distinguished themselves on international and national levels as leading commentators, theorists and critics in a wide range of research areas. Because we are one of the largest Arts faculties in Australia we have the capacity to supervise graduate researchers across a broad range of specialist topics in the performance arts, humanities, languages and the social sciences.

Fee Exempt Degrees
All research students who are Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens or permanent residents are exempt from course fees and enrolled into a fee-free place.
Enrolling for a Monash Arts research degree will not result in a student debt.
