Research degrees can be taken at Doctoral, Masters or Honours level. ACJC offers research supervision in diverse areas. Scholarships are available. The ACJC has expertise in a wide range of areas for thesis supervision.Doctorates
Students who do not receive an APA scholarship may be eligible for an ACJC Doctoral scholarship on application.MA by Research
Masters by Research Degrees may be taken in two ways:100% research
66% research in addition to 24 points of coursework.
Research Supervision
Students undertaking a Research Degree or a Research Project may be supervised or co-supervised by a member of the ACJC. Supervision is available in the following areas:- Jewish history (ancient, medieval, modern)
- Australian Jewish history
- Holocaust and Genocide studies
- Jewish Literature; Comparative Literature
- Yiddish Culture
- Jewish Philosophy (classical, medieval, modern)
- Classical Jewish Texts – biblical, rabbinic, mytical
- Middle East, Arab-Israel Conflict, Modern Israel
- Hebrew
- Demography; Jewish Sociology; Social Cohesion, Migration Studies
- Jewish Cultural Studies
Honours
