Korean Music and Dance Performance.

The Korean Studies Program was recently proud to present an evening of traditional Korean performing arts led by Mr Pak Chunyông, holder of the status of Human Treasure for the Paebaengi kut. The event was supported by the Korea Foundation. Details and photos.

Congratulations to Lauren Hodes and Elizabeth Johnston
Lauren won 1st prize and Elizabeth 3rd prize in the 2007 national Korean Language Performance Contest.

Congratulations to Scott Walker
Scott, who majored in Korean at Monash, has been awarded the NIIED (National Institute for International Education Development) scholarship. He will undertake a Master's degree in Korea.
