HOW EASY IS KOREAN?
We often assume that learning Asian languages is difficult, but it is no different from acquiring any other skill or technique - it's steady, straightforward work that most of us can succeed at. And Korean writing is relatively easy - there are only 24 Korean letters in the "alphabet". Once you have mastered them you can read almost everything. There are about 30,000 Koreans living in Australia, so you'll be able to find plenty of friends to practise with. And Koreans are a deeply hospitable people with a sense of humour that can quickly put Australians at ease.
