Inaugural Language and Society Centre Annual Roundtable 2009
The Inaugural Language and Society Centre Annual Roundtable was held on the 19th and 20th February 2009 at Monash University Clayton campus. This year’s topic was Multilingualism in Urban and Suburban Settings. The relationship between multilingualism and processes of urbanisation, migration and globalisation was explored at both a local level (such as within educational settings and individual urban areas) and international level.
