Past Projects of the Language & Society Centre
Under the directorship of Prof. Michael Clyne the Language and Society Centre has been engaged in the following areas of research:
- Evaluation of bilingual programs at Bayswater South Primary School and Princess Elizabeth Junior School for the Deaf
- Action research on Greek program at Wheelers Hill Secondary Collage
- Language maintenance patterns for Macedonian, Tagalog/Filipino, Somali
- Raising children bilingually

Prof. Michael Clyne is now director of the Research Unit for Multilingualism and Cross-Cultural Communication (RUMACCC) at the University of Melbourne.
