Prime Minister Launches Report on Japanese Language Education
'The Current State of Japanese Language Education in Australian Schools' a report written by Robyn Spence-Brown (School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics), and Anne De Krestser (Melbourne Centre for Japanese Language Education) was launched yesterday by the Prime Minister.
The report provides important data on what is happening in Japanese Language Education nationally as well as in individual states and territories. It outlines key findings and our key recommendations for leading change. Find out more.
Monash Language students continue to excel
Recent awards include: Tokyo Foundation Japanese Essay Contest; Korea Foundation 2010 Fellowship for Field Research; Japanese Video Festival Contest 2009; Australian-Asian Language Awards; Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program Scholarships; Victorian Multicultural Commission Prize for a composition in Italian; Embassy of Japan Study Tour Scholarships; German Academic Exchange Service intensive course scholarships; and Chinese Bridge Scholarships.
