Korean Studies Community Engagement
Young-a Cho is Vice-President of the Korean Studies Association of Australasia and responsible for maintaining the Association's website. She advises the Korean Examination Panel for the VCE (Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority), and in 2002 she hosted a workshop for Korean teachers in Victoria; she is a Study Specialist Vetter of the Korean Examination Panel for the NAFLaSSL CAT 3 Interstate examination (Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority); she is a member of the interview panel for the Korean Teacher of the Year award (Department of Education & Training); she occasionally gives cultural briefings to companies based in Melbourne.
