Antigone has a strong interest in establishing the longevity benefits of traditional Mediterranean and Asian diets, and in developing culturally sensitive Food Based Dietary Guidelines.

Savage, Gayle S BSc, GradDipDiet (Deakin), PhD (Monash)

Gayle Savage

Gayle has a keen interest in geriatric nutrition and completed her PhD in aged care in 1998. She is currently involved in developing and delivering short courses in food quality, safety and nutrition.

Wahlqvist, Mark L, AO BMedSc, MD, BS (Adelaide), MD (Uppsala), FAIST, FACN, FAPHM

Mark L Wahlqvist

Mark has had a combined career in internal medicine and human nutrition with chairs in both these fields over the last 2 decades. His publications amount to almost 1000, including over 400 peer-reviewed scientific papers and 17 books. He has played a major role in national and international nutrition science, education and policy.

Tikky Wlattanapenpaiboon

Tikky has a multidisciplinary background in pharmacy, food chemistry, nutrition and health. Her interest has been in the area of phytochemicals, where health benefits of compounds found in plants are investigated.
