Woodwind, Brass & Percussion Performance Program
Classical
The Monash Woodwind, Brass and Percussion Performance Program provides a friendly, supportive and nurturing environment for students to develop a broad range of skills in both performance and pedagogy. Students are encouraged to develop their technical and artistic skills through practical and theoretical study.
Students receive expert instruction from eminent staff and visiting artists through a variety of classes:
- individual lessons
- performance workshops
- masterclasses
- an ensemble program, including Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony and Chamber Music
Many performance opportunities are available to students throughout the year. These include:
- Twilight Concert Series
- Lunch Hour Concert Series
- Concerto Competition.
A variety of scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate wind, brass and percussion students.
