Peter Sheridan

Biography

Flutist Peter Sheridan is on staff at the Monash University, Melbourne University, Victorian College of the Arts, and Donvale Christian College. He has recorded Hollywood soundtracks and has performed throughout the Southwest of the United States. A past member of the Los Angeles Flute Quartet, he has lectured for La Sierra University, Santa Monica and El Camino Colleges in Los Angeles CA, and has presented master classes throughout the States, including the National Flute Association. A passionate supporter of new music for flutes, he has commissioned over 40 works for the flute family. He specializes on the Low Flutes and can be heard on Albany, Innova, Varese Sarabande, and MOVE records.
