Broken Hill's memory of the Great War: Outback Oration April 2008

Twice a year, students and staff from the National Centre for Australian Studies visit Broken Hill, a mining community embodying much of the spirit of ‘Outback Australia’. And twice a year, leading Australian scholars deliver the ‘Outback Oration’, a public lecture addressing the concerns of remote and regional Australia.
