The AIC Australian Studies Fellowship is a prestigious program giving Indian scholars the opportunity to extend their research and teaching practices in the field of Australian Studies.  Scholars are able to develop valuable collaborative networks with academics and educational and cultural institutions.  The Fellowship subjects are wide ranging and possible themes include multiculturalism, indigenous culture, sport, international relations, environmental issues, heritage, tourism and the media.

The Fellowship program involves an impressive consortium of Australian universities:  the University of South Australia (Adelaide), the University of New South Wales (Sydney), the University of Queensland (Brisbane), the Australian National University (Canberra) and led by Monash University (Melbourne).

The AIC Australian Studies Fellowship Alumni website fosters the connections made by Fellows in Australia and creates a dynamic network of Fellowship participants.  Fellows have access to online materials for teaching and ongoing research and to an interactive communication exchange.  The site will also keep the alumni up to date with articles, further opportunities and events.
