Differentiating assessment for the higher level of a dual-listed unit:
Unit co-ordinators must make a qualitative and measurable differentiation between the two levels of a dual-listed unit (HSY2985 and HSY3985, for example), by requiring the demonstration of greater sophistication in reading and/or:- stronger grasp of key concepts
- more independence in the design and development of a research project
- the use of a more demanding range or type of sources.
