About Politics at Monash

The Politics Discipline is part of the School of Political and Social Inquiry within the Arts Faculty of Monash University. Politics at the undergraduate level is taught on both the Clayton and Caulfield campuses. Honours and postgraduate degrees (by coursework and by thesis) are offered on the Clayton campus.

Within Politics there is a range of expertise available for supervision and a diverse range of subject offerings. Four areas of the discipline are particularly well represented - International Relations/Global Politics; Australian Politics; Political and Social Theory; and Cultural and Identity Politics.

Politics is a vibrant discipline with large undergraduate and postgraduate student numbers; a healthy publications record; and some prominent public political commentators.
