Organised by the Japan Club of Victoria and hosted at the Immigration Museum of Victoria 400 Flinders St, Melbourne
The 2006 Lecture Series accompanies the exhibition From Kimono to Sushi: The Japanese in Victoria at the Immigration Museum 9 April 4 June 2006.
A series of six lectures will be given throughout the exhibition period in April, May and June.

Surprising Hidden Histories: The Japanese in Victoria 1869 - 1943

- The opening lecture will be given by Dr Pam Oliver, a specialist on Australian-Japanese history and an Honorary Research Associate of the School of Historical Studies.

Cost: $11.50/ $5.50 concession, includes afternoon tea and entrance to Japanese Exhibition in the Community Gallery.
