Translation and Interpreting Studies
Languages offered include Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. The availability of other languages, such as Arabic, Croatian, Persian, Russian, Serbian and Ukrainian is dependent on student numbers and staff availability in any given year.

Major International Translation Conference at Monash Next Year
The 3rd Conference of the International Association for Translation and Intercultural Studies, will be held at Monash University, Caulfield Campus, in July 2009.
The conference theme will be

Congratulations to Marc Orlando, recipient of the Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators award for “Excellence in Translating”. The award recognises outstanding performance in translating and is open to all practitioners in the government and private sectors across Australia.
